Yeah, no kidding. This one sucks almost as hard as those bikes with the S on the head tube. That makes me wonder; what does the C on my head tube stand for?
I'm really diggin that Guard ca7erham...you got a functional ride there. I'm sorta wondering if maybe I shouldn't check into one for the crapper. |

It's alright dood...you can at least do 3.5' drops to flat on your roadie ;)

EDIT: and it would be easy (not cheap) to get that thing even lighter. |

this summer i decided to rebuild an old bike i had laying around it actually turned out pretty good, it has shimano deore hydrolic breaks, shimano xt 11 to 34 gear cassette, xt shadow rd,xt fd 22 to 44 front chain rings, deore lx hubs, xt cranks, rear shock is a rock shox mc 3.3, rock shox tora 318 on the front im waiting to get back from the shop it quit holding air so thier is a dart 3 in place of the tora it went from being 54lbs to 30 lbs it gets great traction with those panaracer tires, shifts like a dream and is butterly smooth, next summer im going to sell my trek fuel and buy a trek remedy 9

Nice. Have you ridden it with the Vassago fork as well? How does the handling compare?
|
That is truly a beautiful ride, 7.
|
Painted my fork white and put the new pedals on.

I think you need to change the tag under your sig for "I'm ok" to "I'm in need of help."
|
I'm definitely not in need of help. This is just what I have progressed to. All in total this year I have more than double road miles to mtn miles.
