I really love the looks of that Kona Cinder Cone. Clean, simple and beautiful. Sad that Kona decided to go boxy on their newer Cinder Cones (or hardtail bikes).

beautiful bike as it is....thanks for sharing the picks...

also, are you going to sale the rigid fork. I am looking for one for my winter commuter.

let me know.

Thanks man... yeah, its an 03 frame... i bought it last year, my lbs had it hanging around, and it was brand new, so i built it up from parts i had laying around.. The newer style boxy frames are pretty ugly in my opinion.

I will more than likely keep the fork, i might buy another frame, and make an SS to ride to work, or else i might give it to my LBS... i got a smokin deal on that fork, only paid $50 for it brand new, i believe they retail for $120

I admit I like it better as a rigid. But it's great either way.

Kickin' it old school, POS style. '91 Trek 800, "custom build" High tensile forks and stays, plain gauge CrMo main tubes. I need a tank for the rocks of Allamuchy. Most redeemable parts are the wheels: old school Araya RM-20 laced to Deore DX hubs. They ride smooooooth. Deore XT FD, Exage 300LX RD, Nashbar cranks and pedals, Deore DX thumbies, Kool-Stop salmons on Alivio cantis, Ritchey Speedmax so I can ride the pavement to the trails. Total damage: $80.

My first MTB since I got my Muddy Fox courier when I was 11. I decided to pull the trigger after going MTB riding with my mates and struggling with a 21 year old bike that was a little, shall we say, small?!

Sorry the picture is pants...

Your Gunnar makes me weak at the knees. Do you ride it rigid or suspended most of the time?
