Nah, their grips don't have any holes in them to make them lighter and more prone to snapping.
Also, this was a joint project between a friend and I, all we need left it brake lines and it'll be ready to hit the mud hole: |
time to take down the xmas decorations, no?
or are they for the chinese new year celebration |
My 07 Specialized Epic. I love this bike.
As pictured, it has an XTR cassette, CB Candy SL pedals, custom headset cap, WTB exiwolf rear tire and wierwolf front. Aside from that, it's stock. http://www.turbocheese.net/hosted1/epic5.jpg You couldn't see the headset cap above, but here is a pic of it. This reminds me to not be stupid and also wishes me good luck in not doing this to myself again: http://www.mattandjosey.com/cycling/...s/dsc03224.jpg |

They have to have flares over them, and all that qualifies a flare is something to stop mud from coming up.
We usually use old conveyor belt cut and riveted around the well. |
Just picked this up yesterday :) 2007 Cannondale F4

I need better tires, and a fork with more travel. |
Those specialized hardrocks are nice! one of my dads friends got on for his wife, and he let me ride it. It's a nice light, solid bike.

I used to have a special ed hard rock, I loved that bike. "the Cavalier." I traded an Xbox and all my games for the bike with just enough parts to ride it home. I had to trash it because I ran 2.5 tires for a long time and didn't bother to keep the wheels true. They actually WORE HOLES in the chainstays. MOTS: keep 'em true!

Here's my rig, a 2008 Kona Kula Primo. Light, nimble and oh so orange. Hardtails get the job done! Perfect for the fireroads and not-too-crazy singletracks I ride around the LA area.
http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2106/...10636ff2_b.jpg Rock Shox Reba Race up front, Race Face Deus XC cranks, FSA XC-300 rims. Pretty sweet little setup if I do say so myself. |
^lookin' good
