Finally Got My Bike!
I finally got my bike yesterday. It’s been 3 weeks since I ordered it. The Fisher distributor in Madison has not sent any out since spring last year. So they stopped keeping them on the shelves had to get one from California. Gary Fisher even stopped making Cobias this year. If you want one you have to get last years leftovers.
All this is not making me feel to comfortable. I have heard some bad rumors with 29ers but some good ones too. I’m not sure how I’m going to like it for racing. It is a huge bike! I have a hard time getting on it. The bars are up to my chest! It will take some time to get use to it.
But I am excited to have it and eager to ride it this weekend. With no snow but frozen ground the trails are perfect!
I tried to do some of that cool picture taking like some of you guys....but I just dont got what it takes.

Throw the stick!!!!
Nice bike but does it fit you? I don't know if I would want to race a bike that I had a hard time even gettiing on.

looks good.
As for the picture taking, loose the flag. A simple/plain background makes it easier to look at the subject.

The bars are up to your chest? How short are you and what size is the bike? Better yet, let's see a pic of you on the bike!

This morning I put all my stuff by the door to go out to the trails after school. When I got home it was frezing rain. So we couldn't go. Its suppose to snow finaly this weekend and Im goning paintballing with my friends tomorrow. Its going to be awhile untill I get to ride it.
...but I have ridden it on the road a little bit. It rides like a Tank! The fit is fine 17.5 frame. Just not use to the huge tires. The bars are up to my lower chest. A little more then 3.5' from the ground to the headset.
I'll get some cool trail pics when I get out. Hopfuly soon!
Thanks guys!
