Need tires and cant decide on the two

As you can see I'm looking to buy a set of tires for my garry fisher hard tail. I want a set that has red in it and these are the two that I have found just not sure if they are good. I mainly ride on the street's/roads and on the occasional trail. This is the first time buying tires and just not sure whats what.. The ones on the bike are IRC MYTHOS XC 26x2.1!

The choices!!

Panaracer Fire XC Pro(red)
Michelin X'Trem (red)

Thanks

Just buy some Kenda Smallblock 8's. Then ride the trails and bleed red, red blood on the sidewalls.

I'm not funny. I try to be but I'm not.

Seriously...if all you do is street/road/ occ trail...get the Smallblocks. This is the best tire I have ever had for street that can double as a trail tire. It's like a semi slick that actually grips the ground. They are soooo light too.

I still have some Panaracer Fire XC Pro blue walls that I don't use anymore b/c I like these so much better. Don't let the aesthetics get in the way of your ride. You can't even see the sidewalls when your on the bike.

Just my 2 cents.

I've been happy with my Panaracer XCs. I have a red and a yellow. In case that makes any difference to you.

Heck dude...I have a set of Smallblock 8's that are less than 2 months old that I'll sell ya for half price just so you'll love them that much more. They are 2.1" Dual Tread Compound tires that weigh in at around 495 grams each. That's over 1/4 lighter than the Panaracer's. Saving rotating weight really makes a difference.

Get some of those Kenda Ultralite tubes and you'll be able to accelerate like a Hemi 'Cuda!

PM me and lemme know if you want them.

The only reason I'd get rid of them is b/c I plan to put some 2.1" DTC Kenda Nevegal's up on dat thang. I ride alot of trail and a weenie bit of street. I prefer a dirt tire.
