Doing tiny drops with kona
I am such a dork.
I’ve always wanted to catch the reflection of something in a water droplet. I have seen these types of shots before, but never tried one. Well last night I decided to give it a go.

Haha, I love it rev. The reflection doesn't even look real to me though. You sure you didn't photoshop that kona emblem in there?

Nice, highrevs! (I'm sitting cockeyed looking at it, though )
Did you use a thicker liquid than water to achieve the long drip?

It is really just water dripping from the faucet in my kitchen with the reflection of a kona sticker in it.
There are several others, but this was the one. It took several frames too find the timing of the drip, the proper lighting, the placement of the sticker not to mention the correct plane of focus. It’s not a snapshot for sure.

it does look fake-ish. it could be real though, i've seen reflections of things in water droplets where the reflection goes right up to the edge of the drop. if you could somehow get one that shows a little more water and less kona (move the sticker farther away?) it would look like an ad. i dunno what the slogan would be though. I also like how you can see the sticker upside down in the background, you can tell it's refracting.

Wow, I'm not at the level of dorkness, well not yet.
