Fork Advice?

Hey Guys,

I'm a newby here, I was wondering if anyone could recommend a new fork. I ride a 2001 model Trek Fuel 90 and I've been off my bike for a few years. My Manitou is shot and I'm shopping for a new one.

Thanks in advance,

-Dale

A Rockshox Reba is a good mate to a Trek Fuel. Its light but easily servicable and pretty durable.

I just replaced my Manitou Splice Elite with a used Fox Float 100. I've not logged much time on it, but so far, fantastic!! Talk about smooth!

Rockshox Reba or a Fox would be your best bet. Reba is cheaper, Fox is said to ride a bit nicer (I think they both ride superb). Personally I would pick up a Reba race for cheap and be done with it. You won't be disapointed.

awesome!

Thanks guys for your advice, looks like I'll be going with the Reba Race until I get back into the swing of thing and then I'll probably upgrade my entire bike next year. Thanks again guys, I really appreciate your help and value your opinions.

Ciao,

-Dale

thanks

Hi Seely and everyone who replied,
Just wanted to say thanks, I bought a Rock Shox Reba Race shock yesterday and took it out today.. WOW! Compared to my old manitou, this thing is amazing. The remote resistance control is awesome too. I got the fork from a local bike shop here in Italy for about 420 Euro installed. It was worth it and it looks great on my bike.

Thanks again,

-Dale
