If it is a new frame I would have it checked out to see if maybe one of the mounts is off center or perhaps the swing arm is not aligned.
How heavy are you? if you are of the larger size you could be causing the frame to flex to much.
Are you sure it is the bolts?
best thing to do is contact Ellsworth and ask them. They may have had this happen before. If you keep bending the bolts then something is definitly wrong with the frame or shock and sooner or later something is going to snap on you at the worst moment.
My only other suggestion would be to stop doing 10'+ drops

yea, im worried about the frame being misaligned. im 175 and 5'11", so im not huge, but not small. i sent an email off to ellsworth earlier today asking about what the problem could be. maybe ill go to the ellsworth dealer thats a couple towns over and have them check the frame.

Out of curiosity, what grade are the bolts they sent you? It would be stamped into the rim of an allen-key-style bolt, typically.
I rummaged up some Grade 12.9's online here: link.
EDIT: hmm, linkie not quite right. Well, here's their storefront page, anyway, and you can drill down to what you might need: https://www.metricspecialties.com/Shop/products.htm
