Ryde vs. Rival

sorry for all the comparison threads but i wanna make sure i get the right bike i've narrowed it down it 2 bikes Norco Rival and the Norco Ryde the rival is cheeper but only by about $120 (CAD), the guy described the Rival as a jack of all trades, master of none type bike but the ryde as almost the perfect jumper, i have about 1000 in my account, and it would be nice to have a bit of spending money left over, which bike should i go for, thanks

It all depends of the kind of riding you'll be doing, if you plan to do almost only Dj, I would take the Ryde. But if you want a more versatile bike then take the rival. I you don't know what kind of riding you'll do, try them and take the one that you feel to be the most confortable for you.
