I like OnGuard locks. Kryptonites are fine; but when I went looking for a longer 6' cable lock, Kryptos only have 3/8" cable - - unless you buy a looped-end one and get your own lock.
OnGuard makes built-in-lock cable models 1/2" cable up to 1" cable. Plus they have a theft warranty that's as good or better than Kryptonite.

Flak - you made me giggle. Thanks for both the endorsement and the giggle.
robbonds - please talk to your bike dealer about security. You don't mention where you live; that has a lot to do with what level of security you will need. Your dealer should be able to help you with that easily and tell you how to best transport the lock, too.
dminor - sorry that we don't have what you need. We are coming out with a brand new cable line that should be in stores in just about a month. If you are still in need at that time, check it out. But, if you have what you need, great. It's good to know you are comfortable with your security. Oh, the anti-theft protection offers for both companies? If you get a chance sometime, compare them side by side, you may find it interesting.
Safe riding everyone!

Self-locking bike
I built this self-locking bike out of a Specialized frame:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b3dMUCiZDug
No need to carry a lock; the bike frame itself is the lock.
Not for sale, though.

Krypto Newyork 3000.
Pretty damn heavy though. I usually put the cross bar in a sock & stuff it in a water bottle then put the "U" in my bak pak.
