It was only 2 1/2 hours. I Work around the house, play B ball, hike. It's no big deal.

My girlfriend wants to move to Ashville. Any thoughts on the riding, road or mountain? Seems there are some nice views in 828. I'm in glorious SoCal at the moment.

There's a really good road scene I hear. As far as Mtn, in the areas around Asheville you have hundreds of miles of trails. Good bike shops as well.

It all depends on how my Friday night went. If I stay out late, then I usually sleep in. Plus I always ride early Sunday morning, so I like the extra rest before-hand.

I was drinking all friday, all you could drink Engineers BBQ at uni starting at midday, then after that went to a mates 18th (Prob like a 21st in USA, 18 is legal age limit here). Got home at 2 in the morn. Woke up at 8 the next morning, kicked some drunk people out of the house and rode to my mates house. Did shuttle runs at a DH track about 1hour drive from the city.

I hadn't ridden DH since November last year and my god it was fun. 3 fari sized crashes and oh so much hand pump. Damn roadie can't keep your arms strong to ward off the hand pump. Gonna take me a while to be able to ride DH on a rutted track all day again.

Do I sleep in on Saturday?

No! I'm up opening the shop because you need a tube to go riding while I'm sitting at work!

I've really gotta get out of this destructive 2am-11am sleep pattern. It's ruining my productivity.

Early mornings are the best. I want to hit the trail at 8am, spend the day kicking around and then be out there again at 4pm. It's winter now, so I'd probably be in the dark at both ends of the day.

Gotta go out early. Trails tend to get packed on the weekends as it creeps towards noon.

If I can't make it early, then I wait till early evening

Bikes: a few...

I'll sleep as long as the wife and son let me, which is usually about the time the young'n gets up. Man, I have to comment on this last batch of photos, they look good! Your compositions look really well balanced in several of the images. Good Stuff!

Ok.. I'll try again. You might be one of the lucky ones that just has "the eye" for composing nice photos.... or you may have just gotten lucky.

That's exactly my sleep arrangements. It SUCKS. I agree. The times that I HAVE to get out before 8 or 9 I Love it! Pity I don't have trails within riding distance for me. Guess I'll have to go get a road bike to get my kicks! ....?
