24 Hour Solo
Hi, I did a 12 hour solo mountain bike race last weekend at Kelso in Ontario and now getting ready for a 24 hour Solo for the end of August. I have a training program for Bicycling Magazine from 2001 and am looking for other traing programs that may be out there. Thanks,
Wilbur

Do what Tinker does, dont stop for more than 10 minutes.
Seriously, I think you need lots of good support, and serious motivation. Do you plan on riding all night? If then you are going to need some serious lighting. I know that working in marginal lighting is very fatiguing, so you will need a good set up to counter act that.
The laps at Hardwood was 22 or 23k last year. What are Kelso's laps?
Ill be cheering you on, just dont pass me too many times!!
Good luck.

Hi Scooby Snax, the laps at Kelso were only 12.5 km. It was a good mix of hills with recovery. The 24 hour I was talking about is the world solo in B.C. I'll have lots of lights, just a little nervous about riding in a place I've never seen before. I'll be on vaction the week of Hardwood and will have to pass. Till later and good luck.
