Trunk Rack?

Has anyone had experience with the Saris Bones series? I see they have the Bones RS with only 2 straps but it is very expensive. Is it worth it?

Yes. I have the Saris Bones 3. Had two bikes on it and hit 90+ mph while heading to the trail. No issues.

Can anyone recommend a single-bike car rack?

Thank you.

I don't know of any single bike racks. Most are at least 2 bike racks.

I just picked up a Yakima Super Joe 2 and it's working quite nicely.

Thanks, slide13. It just seems a waste of money to buy a rack for two bikes, since I have only one bike.

I have a saris bones rack, I've only used it once actually (i'm more of an out your back door, and ride to where you want to start kind of person).

So if you have a rack that takes two bikes, but you're only transporting one, get a friend to come enjoy the fun. Extra space on the rack taken care of.
