canondale prophet 07 deal
Is this a good deal?
an 07 prophet probably a low line model with xt and aavid bb7 disk brakes
for 1150$ The base exchange has them on sale. Best of all is no tax!
Even comes with crank bros pedals!
How bout it?

Good Deal. Is that the single lefty front fork version? Nothing low line about XT or BB7's, except the brakes are mechanical not hydraulic.
Low line, in my opinion is deore and bb5's

I dont know if its like that in the states but I saw this at the one at the NAS ROTA SPAIN.

Looking at the Cannondale site it appears that a similarly equipped Prophet is $1649.99 MSRP. I would say you're getting a pretty good deal. Buy it, ride it, and when things start to wear out you can upgrade components as you wish. That frame and fork will let you do a lot of things out on the trail. Lots of travel in the suspension and a lot of clearance under the bottom bracket make rocks and logs a blast to ride.
