My insurance co paid replacement cost minus my $500.00 deductible, plus repair costs to my garage door. They sent me to a bike shop with photos for replacement quotes. I've got full replacement value on my policy though. You should check your policy. I went to three different bike shops and they gave me quotes on "comparable" bikes. I'm happy with what I got, but I'd still like to have my old bikes back.
I know that will never happen, though. Still, nice to dream that I might see some dingus riding my old bikes and like flying tackle them.

I've got no idea, dude. Actually, full repalcement value means full replacement value, I guess. My insurance co just told me to go get quote for replacements from bike shops. For them, my claim was small potatos. For me, it was two bikes that I was missing at the hieght of riding season here in Soviet Canukistan.
