Types of Suspension
Right now I am in the process of purchasing a new fork but I am not sure which type I should look in to. I weight 135 and do XC with the occasional 3" drop. What do you ride and what do you recommend:
Coil/elastomer
Dual Coil
U-turn
Single sided coil with Air Assist
HydraCoil
Hydra Air
Dual Air
Can someone tell me the difference between these and which one would be perfect?
Thanks in advance

IMHO there is no perfect fork for everyone. Personally i ride a dual coil Z1 marzocchi and i would never change coils for anything else. I dont like air at all.

Coil is more progressive as far as i know. Air is less reliable. Advantage of coil is that it never leaks air (duuh!). Air leaks , even very slowly. Also air cannot handle big loads.

I didnt have any experience with rockshox but here in the UK everybody seems to have problems with them. One thing that i dont like with rockshox is that you got spare parts and support only if your fork is at maximum 2yrs old.
