Go with Canti's. Increased stopping power, easier adjustment and they look much cooler.

Better than a pozeur (or poughzeur) - - a prozeur!

Scroll down the page and you'll see his new username 'Pete-Fagerlin', and then a few more posts down a goodbye from moderator Brian.

Indeed, hopefully a final goodbye (and good riddance).
I agree with you. Sheldon Brown probably has one of the most extensive cycling knowledge base of anyone here. By what I can tell from Fagerlin's reasoning, that would give him the right to be the most abusive nasty cuss here. I've seen Sheldon be curt with people like Fagerlin, but never rude and demeaning.

If Pete returns, I hope that he can disagree without going straight to attacking a person in some fashion.

Sheldon shows a lot more wisdom than many here (including myself) in the the manner of his posts- respectful of others.

The smart thing for Pete to do would be to come here with that same demeanor, that way he would be able to participate and share his knowledge. But 'respect', 'participate', and 'share' don't seem like concepts that Pete is capable of realizing.

That is an absolute crock of ****.

Since you're a noob, I will remind you that this forum has a feature known as an "ignore list."
If someone's posts offend you, place them on said list and voila! Your perceived problem is solved.

Nice. I like how these whiners want pete gone, then when he's gone they want him to come back, but change his behavior to suit their fragile egos.

Pete must be doing something right for everyone to keep talking about him.

And if what someone types is offensive, I think you have bigger problems to worry about.

Its a bit hard to do this, seeing Pete seems to be using a different alias each day.

If I am correct, the frame for such will have the caliper mount located on the chainstay instead of on the seatstay.

Try the brakes, see how you like them. Look for people who gripe about either system. I have a crap shimano brake, gotta rebuild it. The spring tension in it is too high, making my lever pull a real pain in the butt. Regardless, I consider it forearm training until I get off my ass to rebuild the brake (highschool's a pain when you're taking AP Calculus ).

How much difference is there between Calculus and AP Calculus in HS? Just saying . . . are you touching on Diffrential Equations or something?

Thats wrong.

I'm getting a bit sick of the "i have a mech on my bike so thats all that you really need and there is no point in getting hyrdo's bla bla" attitude (not directed at you Ric0h!) Hyrdo's are not just for Pro's they are for anyone who can afford them.

Wrong again...maybe you should heed your own advice and shut up when you don't know what you are talking about?

A rigorous teacher would do better without the AP curriculum. However, the AP curriculum is standardized as well as the test so it can be used effectively for college placement.
