Which fork would you keep?

Hi guys,
I'm building a hardtail and ended with two budget forks to use for it.
A 2005 Manitou Six 100mm and a 2006 Rock Shox J1. Which would you keep
and use and why?
Thanks for your help.

I wish I could. This is a very budget bike to for me to tow the kid trailer with.

Would a used 1998 Marzocchi Z2 BAM be better than these 6 and 7 year newer forks?

The forks are brand new BTW.
