I like the xterra although I am going with the element this spring. its stupid looking I know, but I don't need another 4x4 and its seems like it will fit the bill nicely as far as a bike/stuff carrier

The Element is cool because it is the box it came in.

I reqlly like the Element on the inside. Love the no carpet.

Don't have to go that spendy to get space and rubber floor mats though - - my '60 International and our '79 F150 both come that way and with beds I'm not afraid to scratch :D

I had a '68 chevy that was much the same.

I rode yesterday for 4 hours, studs off the bike, in shorts. I'm about half way up Massachusetts, and the snow is 95% gone from the woods. It was a tough winter, but the nice weather is coming to you soon. If I head up I91 I can watch the snow go up and up on the side of the road. It was like an old fashioned winter. My arse is sore though.

I'm probably due west of you, and it's basically the same here. There was supposed to be a storm last night, but all we got was rain. Temps are rising, snow is melting, and I will be taking the studs off for good today. Spring is just around the corner!

Had a bad tornado wipe out atlanta...

Seriously looking at a couple of secondhanders though. One's in melbourne, the other is a couple of hundred out of my price range.

Got pretty bored today.
There are more vids, but for some reason they wont upload.

Love my clipless pedals.
Havn't crashed yet.
Got them on friday, and put them on friday. Rode down the street a few times, cliped out and in, then staturday I hit a new trail with lots of climbing, and today rode Thomson again. No problems. AWESOME!
.... well I did get a flat tire...

mtnbiker66 03-19-08 03:21 PM

Well, I need some humor this evening. I just had our old black and tan coon hould put down. She was chained to a fence at a shelter when we found her about 10 years ago. She came home with us so we could find her a home..........we did, ours.I guess she was about 14 or so. Scared of her own shadow but somehow got snake bit about once a year.. We'll miss her.

Hmm, tough year for dogs in the 66 household. Sucks.

You could always go find poopneck and L.D. and hang out with them...

rankin116 03-19-08 04:36 PM

Sorry to hear it 66, that hurts.

Dannihilator 03-19-08 04:47 PM

Sorry to hear about your dog, 66. This one's hanging with the other one having a good time.

BFG 03-20-08 07:28 PM

Sorry to hear about your dog 66, thats no fun.
Also, how did you manage that Smashy? I went for a rather long XC jaunt today through some criminally overgrown singletrack. My bar ends didn't get caught, but my Pop-Loc lever did and snaped clean off.

Dannihilator 03-20-08 07:30 PM

I don't even know how I did that.

BFG 03-20-08 07:32 PM

Looks like Accidental Hamfist Syndrome, but i could be wrong.
