I'm jealous! Have a good time guys, lots of pics please.

BFG 04-25-08 03:24 AM

Thats awesome! Both 66 and gastro! Did both your kids pick it up so quick?

mtnbiker66 04-25-08 06:25 AM

Well, Sara and I are off the the camp. I'll try to take lots of pics.Catch you guys on Sunday evening.

BFG 04-27-08 03:30 AM

If you guys replace your disc brake pads, do you replace them both at once? I hate my Hopes, looking at selling them and actually downgrading....but one end needs new pads. Both at once?

I'm trying to learn how to bunnyhop to get over certain obstacles in a park close to where I live. I ride with my saddle high up so either leg is fully extended on down stroke to prevent knee injury as I've been told but the bunnyhop tutorial video I've seen tells to keep the saddle low. Can I get away with keeping it up without crushed balls upon landing or do I stop a few feet from the log to lower the saddle?

Ok, there was a photo posted a while back of a Stinky with barends and a jacked up seat. Who has it?

That belongs to a guy around here. He uses it as his trail bike and does epic climbing trails (up over 7000 ft) with it. I tell him he's crazy and would have more fun (overall) on a smaller bike but he has fun so that's all that matters.

Lower the saddle. That's really the best way to deal with that problem. At least until you learn to hop high enough with the saddle where it is when you normally ride.

I'm going to be doing a lot of riding this summer, I quit my job and am going out on my own business wise, but am going to take a few months off to ride and relax.

Wow. Good luck with everything. What will you be doing, business wise?

Dannihilator 05-07-08 09:58 PM

Something cycling related.

BFG 05-13-08 08:16 AM

Hmm, Hopes are up for sale, looking to go back to Avid, or maybe Hayes. Something i know my way around, that's easy to get parts for here in Australia and is more reliable than my suckah's.

N2bikeN is down for a week. We took a break from the bikes and hit the water this evening. He did well for his first time with a flyrod.

The couch arrives tomorrow.

I repeat

mtnbiker66 05-19-08 04:22 AM

Roger that.

BFG 05-19-08 06:25 AM

Oh boy, just you wait til my next thread.

As a culmination of the last 24 hours and events until such a thread, it involves Ebay, theft and going to the Police Station before school wearing makeup.

mtnbiker66 05-19-08 06:05 PM

Is the couch crashable around mid June?

What did you do?

And what caused it?

You bet. Official opening of Wild Turkey trail is the 14th (not that that matters really).

BFG 05-20-08 08:37 AM

Any news on that lift assisted park you were previously jibbing about 66?

xcracer13 05-20-08 03:18 PM

BFG- Found your stolen bike on ebay???

I hope it was Kiss or Alice Cooper makeup, otherwise your TGMBG status may be in jeopardy.
