Ahhh man.

I forgot to add "not" before pronounced. Not pronounced, even though it's not pronounced is what I meant.

You win this time.

And we've hit an all time low here on the Mountain Bike forums. It always seems to coincide with the TDF. What gives?

Whats wrong? Don't you appreciate the thrill and excitement of discussing the ins and outs
of the English language? :D

Local LBS starting carrying Pivot bikes. Thinking hard 'bout a Mach 5 frame for a winter project to replace my beloved Stumpy. Anyone got any seat time on one?

Haven't been around much lately mostly been lurking over in the TdF threads, I got a new road bike to replace the to small Bianchi. 86 Cannondale with beat ass blue pain that I think I am just going to leave as is. I need to install my headset and run cables and it will be rideable. After that I need to find some tubulars that are more that 18c wide and don't cost 75 a pop and glue them up.
That said
T minus 5 days until I head to Breckenridge. It will be my friend's first time mountain in the actual mountains. Should be a good time.

have fun man!

Thank you b2b.
I forgot to mention it, but 2 weeks ago I wen OTB on to some concrete slabs used to make up a creek crossing and scraped and possibly split my chin pretty good. I say possibly because I had a pretty good beard going at the time. Fast forward to 3 days ago and I could feel the scab/dead skin combo ready to come off. Along with it came a nice big chuck of my beard and I had a nice bald spot on the left of my chin. So I shaved. Does anybody know how long it might take to get that spot to grow back. I have a pretty good bit of stubble back but it still doesn't look right.

Was just there a couple months ago. Cool area with lots more trails than I had time to hunt down and ride. Get a map from one of the shops. If you're looking for a fun little after-dinner jaunt, hunt down the Mule Trail. Nice and rocky.

Oh, and hoist a brew with a burger down the road at the Dillon Dam Brewery. Give us a report when ya get back.

Just spent a week near Pisgah. Without a bike. Story of my life. But on the bright side, I'll be spending two weeks in Colorado with a bike. Specifically, I'm going to be in the San Jwans (3 hours north west or so of Durango) any recomondations? I'm going to be in Durango on friday (in 6 days).

It was at a youth Presbyterian jebuz camp called Montreat near some place called (I think) Black Rock (I wanna say it was around 45 minutes to near edge of Pisgah), and I did see a few true mountain bikers on the campus of the camp (I'd assume there were some trails near by because they were all clearly riding back to their cars after a ride rather then just riding around). I think next year I'll try to talk some people into going a week or so early for riding.

Leaving at 5 tomorrow for two or so weeks in CO. Sounds like we're renting one of the new 4 door jeeps which should have room for a bike, so. . . Shuttled 4X4 road DHing is in my future :)
