Carbon Fiber Handlebar Help
I just bought a pair of FSA K force Carbon Fiber Handlebars. Can anyone tell me what the max torque rating is for stem and shifters? Thanks

Check the specs for the FSA stems (though you might not have one) or for your stem. Face plate bolt torque necessary is a function of the stem rather than the bar.

Well I am worried about the bar cracking from either the stem of the shifters being tightened too much. I was just curious if anybody else has carbon bars and would like to chime in on how tight I can safely tighten the stem and shifters. Thanks

Did you read FSA's FAQs about carbon bars and their overview on CF tech? What it spoke to me was to be reasonable and don't overtighten. I can't say from firsthand experience yet, since I haven't owned a CF bar yet, but when I do I think I'll be able to get it right by following their guidelines and not getting carried away.
As others have suggested in the past, you might find it prudent to take a turn or two of teflon tape under your shifter perch so that, in the event a crash causes the pod to rotate, it won't gall the bar.
