Thomson company trail?
Has anyone ridden the Thomson Company trail here in GA?
I spent a good bit out there and the trail is amazing! There were some real pro looking guys out there also all decked out with gary fisher gear and stuff. Next time I head out there I'll have to grab a Camera.
This trail is where all the races are and its sorba sponsored. I'm hoping to get into the race world.
Well, Just wondering if anyone else has done this trail, because I need some riding partners to help train with.

Sadly no camera I FORGOT IT!!!!
But this trail got a little rough So I didn't want to stop for pictures even if I did. I'm trying to get my hands on a helm cam for a few days.
I kept worrying about my bike in some areas, there was some pretty insane drops, climbs and decents
Some of the bridges were death traps! The rock bed climb was interesting... I have 62 psi in my tires and had no grip on them, I was everywhere but I made it up! Next time Im running 45psi!
But luckily, no damage except for a slighty out of true wheel
I'M PUMPED! going to start training everyday and hoping to enter in one of the race events.

Anyways, Thomson Makes some nice seat posts and suspension parts, they had them on display in the front office! They're light also.
I'm looking to shed some weight on my bike,

Enough to make me worry about my bike, and enough to make me hit the brakes a lot.
This trail has a lot of surpises around the bends. like out of no where it goes steep downhill with 1-2 foot drops the whole way down, and roots, rocks, all the fun rough stuff.
What really caught me by surpise was they took a long piece of carpet and turned it upside down, so the back of it was showing and put it on a downhill part, it made for a slippery decent. Never saw stuff like that before.
I had a blast.

It sounds like you may have stumbled upon your first real trail. Some of us expect nothing less than 'insane' on every ride.
Don't ever ride with 60+ psi again. I thought I told you already.

They're awesome because they're mediocre.
And I see someone already pwned your spelling for me.
And I don't see how riding like a BMX racer would work on a MTB trail. Were you pumping over the hills or something with your seat slammed?

Oh I don't?
We already went over the subject of Thompson in the road forum.
