They seem pretty good so far but I would reccomend getting the longer pins to anyone who gets them unless your shoes seriously are flat. I have waffles on the bottom of my shoes and the pins don't seem to be long enough to reach the top of the waffle, so theres no real weight being pushed on them. I like how you can get actual colors to match your bike's color, I was just lucky enough that my LBS had these in stock in the right color. I was really suprised no one bought them because they were there for almost a month.

The front tire is, I took them off the Hardrock I got from my friend since they are massive(especially considereing they're supposedly 2.1's). It was originally his rear tire, never rotaded them and he would do 50 foot skids down the street killing his tire. I got a set of IRC Mythos tires with my new wheelset but they just feel way too small for me. They are on the Hardrock now.

I still have it. I am letting some of the bigger kids at school ride it. I have gone nuts. I have six bikes now. Mtnbiker66 has given me an addiction.

Hey!

I recently built a Raleigh Ram2500 (very similar to a Kona Stinky). I hand-picked every part myself to match my small bank account and my willingness to get better at freeriding.

Raleigh Ram 2500
Marzocchi Drop-off triple crown fork (7 inches of travel)
Fox Vanilla shock (6.7 inches of travel)
Richtey riser bar
8" front rotor
6" rear rotor
2.5" nokian tires
truvativ chain guide
Sram derailler
9-speed casset
single speed front
Hayes mechanical disc brakes
dude on bike making it do crazy things...

Well, here is a picture of my New 29'' wheeled Gunnar Ruffian. I was going to go all out and Get an Ti IF, but decided (cheaped out) on steel.

The frame and wheels are new. All other parts were pulled of my 26'' Gunnar. The fork has the same height as the 29er fork. As long as I run discs it will work just fine. I must say, the bike does feel a lot faster than my 26'' wheeled bikes. I don't know if it is imagined or what but, after two rides on it I am digging it.

Here are the pics

Below is an updated Pic of my Surly 1x1. I have 2.7'' up front and 2.5'' in the rear. I am running it fixed for the winter and love it so. You actually strike the ground less than you would think, even going over logs and obstacles.

my Rock Lobster on it's first ride! got the frame used, so while not built specifically for me neither are most bikes and i love them too. set up SS with an ENO rear hub. deep-v red rims, avid brakes (bb7 front, single-digit rear), Manitou black fork, blah blah blah

sorry for the crappy picture quality... photos taken mid-ride on my phone... and i don't know why that first one turned out all green.

in the last 20 bikes posted, 5 or 6 were single speeds. I did notice a bit of a single speed aura about.
