Urban freeride wheelset.

Hey guys I could really use some help. Unfortunately it's time for me to replace the wheels on the P3. I was wondering if anyone could reccommend a good wheelset for urban stuff. I'm 230lbs. and can be hard on parts. Oh, BTW they have to use V-brakes, I don't have disc tabs on the bike.

How about some Sun Rims Ryno Lite XL Welded and Machined on Shimano XT Disc Hubs?

I've seen them for $170 US

i have sun rhyno lite's laced to xt hubs hanging from my bed right now waiting for my planet x frame to get here. but from what i here, people really like them since they aren't "dumb heavy" and afforable, yet able to take abuse you dish out.

I just bought a pair of Sun Rhino Lites, and so far they're pretty good. Lighter than my previous set and yet still pretty beefy. Oh yeah, I'm a Clydesdale too! I got mine from Wheel World, but the front is laced to a Marzocchi 20 mm hub. Black Diamond is right, they sell the ones with XT hubs for $170.

I've seen some laced to Deore hubs even cheaper!

I would be looking for something a bit stronger than xt/rhyno lite.
A dh rim is could be a better bet. Xt hubs arn't the strongest either but are very good value.

right now I have Alex Super sigma triple wall rims laced to Specialized Stout hubs. So I was looking to stay along the same line. Anyone know any e-tailers that carry alex rims? Has anyone heard anything good/bad about Sun mammoth rims?
