Rear disc brake adapter

I have researched and found out I need an adapter for
older Trek Fuel the part # is 210648.
I called every LBS in my area first and they can't or wont help me,
said the part can't be ordered anymore, older bike.
Does anyone have a different take on this?
any help appreciated, anybody have one they want to get rid of?

Thank You
Ron

Worst case, get a picture of what you need, and take it to a machine shop and have them fix one up for you. That is only worst case, perhaps talk to someone on the trek website if possible, or a forum about older treks.

Ron,
I did the disc conversion recently on my Trek 4500 and the LBS (a Trek dealer) ordered the part for me. Had it in a couple of days. If you can't find it locally, try Placerville Bike Shop in Placerville, CA. Ask to speak with the owner, Bob.

Thank you for the replies, I will have to drive a few extra miles
to find another Trek dealer and if I get this part I will be doing my business
away from the other FOUR dealers that are closer to me, I dont like lazy salespeople
