I have a silver Cannondale F600. I really like the bike. Only problem is that it may be a tad too big for me. I am 6'1" and the bike is an XL. Wish I bought the L. Anyway, I was wondering about the front suspension (I don't have the lefty). Is there anyway to upgrade this to a rockshock fork or something with more travel? This isn't my bike, but it looks kind of similar:

You should have the ability to pretty much replace your stock fork with any new fork within your price range. It all boils down to how much you can reasonably spend to make your ride better. If you're an L type individual, I bet that XL is a reach.

I am not sure I am an L type individual, but I know that the bike feels just slightly too big. When I straddle the bike though, there is a few good inches between the frame and my package, but it is still a little close for comfort. I was under the impression that the fork on the F600 is not upgradeable, so that is good news!

Just like in the other cannondale/headshock thread... you'll need an adapter to get a non headshok fork to fit your Cannondale

yeah...you can definitely upgrade the fork on that bike...but why the hell would you want too?
cannondale's system integration thing that they have going produces some of the lightest, stiffest, and fastest components out there. your headshox weights 2.8lbs... you would be hard pressed to find any suspension fork out there other than the new manitou mrd R7 and the reeallly expension lefty that weigh that little. i own a R7 platinum from last year, and the headshox is just as good.

while your headshox may only have 80mm or travel, its a good 80mm...with forks its all about the quality of the travel instead of the quantity. i have found headshox to be one of the smoothest and stiffest forks out there. go read about them on cannondales website and i think you will reconsider...

I'll second that, too. You won't find another fork that's stiffer, lighter, and not prone to stiction......than Cannondale's Headshok system. In fact- I prefer it OVER the Lefty, myself. Dollar-for-dollar......the Headshok is race-proven technology, with a ton of world-class wins. Yeah, you can pay close to a grand for something lighter- but the steering precision of the Headshok, is legendary.
