That Lynskey is gorgeous. The Fly Ti tube shaping is a bit more aggressive than the Lynskey. The welds are nice on the Fly, but I'm not sure they're quite a slick as those on the bike on the Lynskey website.

Correct. The Fly Ti was a no brainer. And apparently I can eBay it for more than I paid for it should Rutnick convince me a gotta have a full suspension Specialized or whatever.

Don't worry. I'm a pathetic Roadie Poser MTB Pretender, the Fly Ti is all I need.

My rush is at 25.5 lbs with 120mm up front, 110 in the back. The hardtail I had before it was about 23.5 lbs. I don't notice the 2 lbs at all really.

Did he ever offer it as "frame only"?

Hey, you're playing in the dirt. Welcome aboard.

I got two of my roadie only guys in the club racing last race.

You can always tell a true roadie on a MTB. It's the cleanest bike. I rode with one of them when he got his new MTB. It got absolutely filthy and so did my bike. I saw it the next day and it looked brand new and even the tires had a shine on them. My HT still has dirt on it from last year.

Correct. I Armour All'd my MTB last night. It's ready for the MTB Action photo shoot.

Yes, BD does plan on offering this as a frameset, probably <$1000. That Pedal Force Group buy MTB CF frame looks nice too. But if I ever get another MTB it would be FS Rutnick. I am convinced. But that may never happen.

Jeez my quad is sore. This is a hazardous sport. I need a nice safe road race.

I can see not really noticing 2 lbs. I guess I'm coming from a FS bike that is considerably heavier and doesn't really work all that well. It does skew your perspective. Some of the rigs I see around here have to be in the 35# range, though, and that just seems a little over the top.

You mean the sport of standing beside a trail?

I couldn't resist.

But it was a highly technical trail.
