gearing

on my gt chucker 2.0 ive been running it single speed for a while and ive cracked the large sprocket on the front from hitting it on stuff to much, and now im thinking of using the smaller sprocket on the front, how would it go running 22, 12 gearing?

It'd be real similar to 44,14.
