Choosing a Cycle Computer

I believe that I have narrowed my choices down to 4: Cateye Enduro 8, Cateye Strada, Cateye Velo 8 and Planet Bike Protege 9.0.

I honestly cannot tell the difference between the Enduro and the Strada. The features seem to be identical, or nearly so. Perhaps the Enduro is more heavy duty as their website says, but the features are the same. What's the differecne?

I like the Velo 8 because it is the only low-priced computer with a calorie consuption feature. I wonder why this is?

Finally, I have heard good things about the Protege 9.0.

I plan to use it on the trails, as well as some on the road (on my mtb bike). Any thoughts on which one I should choose or avoid? Thanks!

Wow, that calorie consumption feature would certainly rate high in my book.

because it isn't accurate at all. Even HRM's aren't very accurate with calorie consumption. You generally need a powertap for accurate measurement of that.
