had i ordered a white, given his halibut was wrapped in pancetta, it was raining and cold outside, and he prefers very dry wines, i'd have gone for a bottle of chablis or a chassagne-montrachet.

[sorry for the hijack, guys]

I'm kinda lost on the wine discussion myself, but if they like it, as much as I like a cold beer,
I'll try to roll with the flow.

Me too, actually. I have taken to drinking scotch until I'm face down in a mixture of my own blood, vomit and sweat. It is a surprisingly awesome way to meet women. It appeals to the motherly side of girls who just want to help save you. I know this because I'm older and stuff now.

Ha, I'm a runner, a swimmer, a bike rider, and I have a passion for Lagers. That's an oxymoron,
on several levels. But I am a rather high functioning moron

I suspect the bouncers at Pete's local tavern disagree.

I think it would be better to make a Pete Fangerlin board here and just let anyone who wants to be around Pete congregate there. We lost an immense voice of calm and informative wisdom when Sheldon passed. We don't need to throw things even more out of whack by letting Pete back.

Pete has fragile feelings, and I suspect that he will always have fragile feelings. Also, does he know anything about wine?

Ohh Pete Fagerlin....

I wonder if he's still in the ByBerry institution? He was screaming like a lunatic when they locked him up in that place, i said to myself, he would never be let out, never, they would never let someone like that out on the streets again.

Lets hope he's still in his shackels. Its for his own good i reckon.

We need an "Ask Pete" forum. We can all go in and ask Pete questions like: "Hey Pete, why do my testicles turn blue every time I ride?" Or: "I saw a bitchin' red bike at Wal-Mart, can I use it as a downhill bike?"

I can show everyone how fragile they are. But we definitely need Pete for the ignorant part.
