My new 888R ;)
Got the 888R instead of the Dorado MRD X-Works. With the money I saved might buy another wheel set!

Thanks guys! Maelstrom, I don't know, it sits nicely with me sitting on it, with the correct sag. This fork is soooo sweet. You feel like you can bomb over/through anything. I really like having the 8"/8" combo.

If you notice I put the RC w/Pro-Pedal back on. My next upgrade will be a Ti Spring. Any one else got any Ideas? I'm running outta upgrading room.

You could leave it as is ...you already have a smoking ride...you gotta tell me how the shock feels on that thing. I want to upgrade mine to a pro-pedal (I am not going to the 8in upgrade kit yet)

Still kicking.

Like I told you before. With the stock shock (Fox Vanilla R) it bobs pretty bad. I bolted on the big link and the pro-pedal and it made a big difference. I'm trying to adjust to not having SPV on the front fork now. But man it rides so nice.

Well I just got out of a cast. I'll be back in the saddle soon. I have spent a lot of time on my bike. I had the 04 Slider + on before the 888R. I'm going to get a Ti spring for sure, and maybe another wheelset.
I weighed it at my LBS and it came in at exactly 41lbs

Here is my tall seatpost. ...Can't wait to get my thompson. I have some parts I still want to upgrade...
In order of priority
1 - cranks
2 - shock (maybe the biglink)
3 - fork
Then the bike will be more or less complete. I would like to buy a second fork (a sc) so I can transfer between a trail bike and a dh bike.

Here's mine right after i put the fork on it last fall. Funny story. My GF bought me the fork as gift and I rushed to a LBS to get it put on. I waited like 2hrs in the shop to get it put on. The next day i get up to ride and it snows. It was the end of my season. So I had to wait almost 6mo to ride it.
