When jumping and hitting some drops, it's a good idea to drop your saddle height a couple of inches. I drop mine down as low as possible. This makes the XC portion more of a pain, but it's sooooo much sweeter during the jumps!

yeah, i definately do that... but i tend to not look and drop it too low, and have my rear suspension bottom out when it hits my seat post
