Going to Myrtle Beach

Hey Guys and Gals, I'm going to Myrtle Beach this weekend and I'm wondering if anybody here knows where I might get a ride in. Can't decide if I should take the roadbike or my MTB. Help me out guys. Thanks!

I don't know of any trails, but I would REALLY think twice about hitting the road...so many tourists/old people/drunks/soccer moms/golfers...unless you can find some back roads?!?!?!

This post reply is probably too late, but I think you can actually ride "on" the beach this time of year. Myrtle Beach is so popular that the ocean water is very dirty & polluted. That's where the foam comes from in case you didn't know. I started going to Myrtle Beach about 20 yrs. ago with my family, but have since learned to go to cleaner & more prestine places like Top Sail Beach.... Good luck & have fun! Someday you'll learn what I already know....

This is my daughter at TopSail Beach in June 2003. Notice how crowded is was... Get the picture?

BTW. TopSail Island is named so because of " Black Beard" the pirate, who would hide behind the island and attack the northbound merchant ships. The Sea-Going Captains thus found out that he & his evil coherts could be spotted by their top sails of their pirate ships lurking behind Top Sail Island. They eventually learned to travel farthur offshore thru that particuliar area..... Just in case anyone there cares.....
