My friend jsut got boxxer shox.
hes giving me his DJ II's.

i have the DJ III

first off, which ones better?
second i have a completly stock trek. so if i use the dj II's will i need to buy a new hub, is it a 20 mm axle?

i have a 20 mm axle on my bike, dj II's fit it right?
can i stick v-brakes on the dj II's /?

this is wat my friend sed...

it could be 20mm. I would check. And yes you would have to buy a new hub. And really the differences are insignifgant EXCEPT for the 20mm. qr20 axles kick ass. I hate forks without them

Oops...that is THE only diff...dj2 is qr20 and dj 3 is standard.

If you have the money DEFINATELY do the upgrade.20mm is better

hes giving them to me for free, its my birthday :-p
anyways i wud need a new hub? can they use v-brakes?

If its an 04 you are stuck with discs.
