Hypothetically
Hypothetically, how would a 130mm fork do on a Sette Shadow frame? Obviously I can see the listed the geometry, but I cant find what size fork everything was measured with. Also, hypothetically of course, would there be any issue with using a triple on it?

Why don't you send an email to Sette and ask them: info@setteusa.com
I'm sure that they'll be able to answer your questions.

It didn't stop some guys who installed triples on Giant ACs when they first came out years ago though!
I had a quick look at the shadow and it's hard to tell if it can take it or not. If the rubber bumper hits the welded area between the top and down tube it might be able to. Be interesting to see what Sette says.

Don't own a Shadow, but generally (hypothetically ) frames that are designed for normal forks lack the reinforcement to handle the stanchions of a triple whacking onto the sides of the top and or down tube. A dent, even a slight one in that area becomes a stress riser and the tubes could "fold" catastrophically in certain circumstances. A lot of frames that aren't intended for triples would void their warranties if triples were installed.

Hypothetically speaking... not really I have one and have done a bunch of looking.
Manu at Sette USA told me it was designed around 100mm fork making the HT angle something like 70. I have seen them with everything from 80-150.
Exhibit A 150.

B 80 (maybe 100)

C 100 (i think)

I am still building my up the the 140 55r. The MTBR link is closest to my build.
Triple crank or triple crown?
