You need a 9-speed chain, and then use this to get the correct length.
If you put the chain around the two biggest cogs without derailleurs and add two links to that length, it should give you the proper length. As a general rule of thumb it works well.
Also as mentioned before, you buy any 9 speed chain. It will be too long, so you get a chain tool and take off the links you don't need.
