I'm also in Minnesota and I walked out with it for less than half of the original MSRP on the thing. It's a fun bike in the little time I've actually had on it in this terrible "spring" we've had so far. It's on the heavy side but it doesn't ride like it. Given it's versatility, it'll be fun to play around on it.

Bikes: Bike list is not a resume. Nobody cares.
Freshened up with a new 37T Renthal chainring, 38mm-rise FatBar and Maxxis meats - - 2.5 Minon DHF and 2.4 Minon DHR II. Curious to see how the new DHR pattern works.

7" front; 8" rear.
A big box of Yeti goodness showed up Fed-Ex Ground at work today. It is right behind me in my cubicle
. I opened the flaps and it's a whole buncha parts. Funny, for such a big box (12½" wide), nothing seems to be put together (well, I don't have to lace the wheels anyway). It's all good . . . I'll just take my time.
Oh, and I got my color choice of lime (had to list an alternate, which was black). Am stoked.

Dunno, something doesn't look right. Better let me test it out for a few months first.

Newest one to the quiver,a bikesdirect.com budget SS 29"er,since I sold off my last mtn bike frame (Vassago Bandersnatch) in January, and my last complete bike (Vassago Jabberwocky) last year to build my Xtracycle. These are $349.95 shipped right now. I swapped out lotsa parts for parts I had left over (handbuilt wheels/tires,stem/bars,seatpost,pedals,bb7's,Manitou Drake air fork),but even so,the cheap aluminum frame rides much better than I expected on rocky/rooty technical singletrack. 2013 Gravity G29 in black 17.5"...

Ya, I kinda jumped in the deep end following some other color-blind nut who probably thought it was robin's egg blue . . . .

^^ I'm not into naming my bikes but this one may have to be an exception. It's almost begging to be called . . .

Bikes: A fat tire & a skinny tire & two others I loaned out
Since it was said to be not only acceptable, but encouraged...

Soon to be a mini motard racer...would've gotten something a little nicer, but XR/CRF100's have the most racing classes down here. DRZ had to go to make room...sad day...but the streets are dangerous because people are stupid, myself included.
