Well, for one thing, I wear prescription glasses and they are polcarbonate-shatterproof. And I wear them every waking hour of the day- when you're down to one peeper, not taking any chances.

On the bike I'm currently wearing Adidas Evil Eyes with prescription inserts. I'll switch 'em out for the regular glasses when in the dark woods.

Ya know, some peeps think I'm foolish for continuing to ride with only one eye. Well then, maybe they should just shoot me 'cause my god rides a mountain bike.

Broke my right hand middle finger three weeks ago. Needed surgery and now have two nails on the joint to hold the 'pieces' together. Last week got infected and its been a pain in the ass (and in the finger). Worse part is that I havent been able to ride in a long while.

Losing an eye is pretty effing extreme. I'd still ride. I get a similar reaction from folks who know/find out I nearly lost my leg in an accident MTB a few years ago. Stuff happens, biking is too good to let go.
