best suggestion yet. we could even take it to (but not limited to) "fell on my penis".

RIC0 08-26-09 06:00 PM

Not a phrase or term but posting a pic of your bike more than 4 times a month should be stopped.

dminor 08-26-09 06:08 PM

Ahhhh . . . or posting a file-photo from the manufacturer's web site in the 'Post Your Rides' thread.

RIC0 08-26-09 06:29 PM

Limit stickies to less than 50 per forum... like this one.. hint hint... wink wink

Epic.

Most over-used surfer/stoner phrase I have ever heard. I cringe when I hear or read it. Please make it stop.

Dion Rides 08-26-09 08:49 PM

Alright... "run" as in "What tires/cranks/bars/adult diaper are you running?"

I agree. Used WAY too liberally.

That being said, I think we could still classify 100 miles w/12,000 ft. climbing 'epic'.

That's prevalent everywhere, it seems. On one firearms website I visit everybody and their wannabe brother posts about how they're running this or running that.

yeah well, I usually run ketchup on my hamburgers and I always run similac in the baby's bottle. Sheesh...

I am rockin' purple ourys to match my purple stem and pink bars. totally pimptastic.

ed 08-28-09 02:15 PM

Hey...leave "pimptastic" alone...it's a little too close to home.

Why would an all day session at Whistler not be "epic".

It used to be a good one, but then everyone started using it and now its dead. People need to widen their vocabularies. If we had richer vocubalaries we wouldn't have to exhaust every new word or phrase that appeared. We should speak in metaphor. For example:

"Your bike is an epic fail"

Should become

"Your bike is a lamb among lions"

Jordan300 08-29-09 08:09 AM

I agree on Epic, the word has lost it's magnitude from over use.

Dion Rides 08-29-09 08:53 AM

All the phrases you guys are running is epic!11!!11!

Dion Rides 08-29-09 08:54 AM

Okay, I hate all the 1980's hip-hop lingo that hipsters use nowadays to be ironic and cool.

mtnbiker66 08-29-09 12:46 PM

My epic ride was off the hizzle. Totally shredded the gnar....off the chain.

Dion Rides 09-03-09 06:04 PM

"Full Sussie" must now die.

Mark S 09-03-09 06:40 PM

Singletrack is always "sweet".
Suspension is always "plush".
