up swing = bottom pull cable under bottom bracket
down swing = top pull cable from above
or some combination of that. see if someone else can confirm this
chances are you need high clamp. your frame should say??

I've found the top swing to be more universal but some full sussers need bottom swing to allow for suspension movement. Now Top pull or bottom pull is self explanatory depending on your frame.
