yeaqh, the rock lobsters look good. Go to www.merlincycles.co.uk and they have a list of the frames there.

Bikes: 2014 Curtlo, 2006 Serotta Coeur d’Acier, 2005 Independent Fabrication Steel Delux, 2003 Surly 1x1, 2003 Surly Cross Check, 1986 Schwin Worldsport SS commuter, 1980's Mongoose Supergoose

I'm looking at getting a custom built Curtlo frame. Doug Curtiss out of Winthrop WA builds custom chromo frames for very reasonable prices. Actually, if his price list is still acurate, the prices on custom frames are similar to prices on most high end stock frames. Anyone have any experience with these frames? example : Curtlo 24 hour frame

I'm a big Marin fan. Either the Rocky Ridge or the Wildcat Trail are nice looking units. I understand your want to build up a frame; Marins generally come with exceptional frames for the money.

Bikes: Lots

www.yeticycles.com and look at their FRO lineup.

Moderately priced, and Yeti has a great racing heritage even though the company has been bought and sold several times.
