Does anyone know of a BALANCE site/thread.

A lot of you might remember the BALANCE brand bikes from the 90's. I am looking for a thread/site/anything on the brand. I have scoured the net and can't find anything except the specific models on Bikepedia. I know most brands have a thread dedicated to them. Anyone have any leads?

Well there has to be a few Balance owners on this forum. I found a few photos from other sites. This first one is one that I built up as a SS with a bunch of parts I had laying around my shop. A freind of mine gave me the frame in exchange for helping him move. I have already changed a few things since this picture though, I put a better stem and some riser bars on it.

The rest of these I found on various sites

I used to have one. Got the steel frame as a take-off from my club's sponsor shop back in the 90's and built it up with XT derailleurs, LX cranks, Grip Shifters, and Manitou 4 fork. Pretty nice frame, but the derailleur hanger got bent easily in a fall, and bent a few times after that before I just decided to trash it.

My friend had one of the newer aluminum ones with STX components, and she loved it.

One guy in particular posted a bunch of pics. Not quite sure why.

Eye candy for the OP. I believe they basically made a Manitou fork that got integrated into the rear to make this full suspension ride.
