32 pound beast needs weight help.

The 7 speed, 32 pound Beast has a wheel set that weighs 11.4 pounds (just the wheels and tires!). Any good to great ideas for a much lighter rim brake set that will take a Shimano 7 speed? Mostly fire trail and hill climbing to mix up road bike time and ride in the rain and mud of Seattle.

Thanks!
