Tacx on seat adjusting clamp: How to remove it to allow movement and re-adjust seat?

Hi, I recently bought an used Look 986 frameset and the previous owner used Tacx compound to secure the seat clamp and avoid movement of the seat once secured with the bolt. (This was actually recommended by Look). I need now to re-adjust the seat angle and even though I can loosen the seat bolt, the cups that are on both sides of the seat base won't move at all. Is there a way to remove or loosen the Tacx compound? (Oil, solvent, etc)?

Thanks,

Francisco
