Tapered headtube question

I am planning on buying this bike frame:
https://www.jensonusa.com/store/produ...Pro+Frame.aspx

I currently have a fork with a standard 1 1/8" steer tube.

The bike comes with a headset, but am I correct in thinking I need this adaptor:

The $62 option?

That's correct. However, if you already have a spare 1⅛" headset that you like, you can get away with the $19 option:

Okay. I do have a good headset already.

So the frame comes with a headset in it though.

How does this all go together then?

okay. I think I understand. The reducer presses into the headset in the frame and then my 1 1/8" headset presses into the reducer.
