Just turned 57 and ruined my second helmet in December. I do love to ride trails, look for things that many don't take the time to appreciate.

Contemplating the wisdom in the term "Act Your Age!"

I used to live by the motto, Live hard, Die Young and Leave a Worn Out Corpse!

Well I succeeded at 1 and 3 and now I have to make the corpse last a while longer. Now days my recreational drug is Motrin.

All Hail the trail!

I'm in my upper 40's, long time road biker, and got my first MTB last year.
Singletrack is a lot more fun than I previously thought!

Same here, I'm 46 and started this mountain bike thing last year after a few years on the road. My friends actually talked me in to it, and I'm sure glad that they did!

Hahaha, I was in my mid 20's when my 40 year old cousin took me on a trail for the first time. I felt pretty pathetic

Well, "MBA" biker, does that name indicate that you spend toooooo much time with spreadsheets and expense reports? If you don't mind being the back door on ridewss, just pedal and smile. If you want to get in the mix and ride with the group, compete against yourself, get a spreadsheet on your riding times and push for improvements 3 out of 4 rides.

You know that right now them older guys are sitting in a Starbucks feeding their elder egos on stories of dropping that 31 year old in the dust.
