Weird clicking sound:?
My bike started this clicking sound after i had changed gears while riding, its riding just find just every time i ride theres the clicking and it wasnt there before. Any ideas what it might be? I have GT Avalalance with front suspension and the disc brakes are Shimano if that helps any.

It might be the chain rubbing on the FD cage. It might also be your bottom bracket. It might also be that your hub, other hub, cassette, chainring, headset, seatpost or rotors are loose. Check-tighten all of those. If it's none of the above, make sure it's not your thumbs on the Blackberry keys.
Alternatively, you could provide us with more information so we can diagnose the problem over the internet without seeing the bike.

If it happens when you're not turning the pedals you can rule out just about anything relating to the pedals, bottom bracket, chain etc. If it only happens when you're turning the pedals it's likely to be one of those things.
I had an annoying clicking sound that was intermittent and which turned to be a bottom bracket that failed unusually quickly. From the symptoms I described the guy at the LBS (where I bought the bike) was puzzled as to what it could be, but swapped out the pedals (no difference) and then swapped out the bottom bracket (which fixed it). Even having seen it fixed by changing the bottom bracket he was still puzzled as to how it could have been a BB failure.
One of the key things I noticed was that I could get the click to happen by shifting my weight on the pedals without actually turning them.

It's an adjustment issue, that's all. It happens. Nothing, even perfectly adjusted at the start, stays perfect for life; yours just happened to show up when it did. If you're handy and know how (or can learn from the online helps from Park Tool and such), adjust it, or take it to the LBS.
I'm not flaming you here, or even lumping you in with this group I'm referring to; but I deal almost daily with people who think a bike is supposed to be perfect when bought, STAY perfect with no maintenance, or it's defective... and these are $100 bikes! I had to process 2 returns over the last week on bikes that required less than 1 minute's attention, bikes that were referred to as "broken".

I had a frame pump that slid into the front chainring and started clicking. It took me forever to find that. But chasing down a click is important. Something is rubbing that shouldn't be.

So it's almost certainly something to do with your drivetrain. It could be as simple as someone mentioned earlier if your derailleur cable is catching on your pedals although it sounds like the same kind of thing I had when my bottom bracket was worn out. I can't be sure, since I'm not a bike mechanic myself (and even if I were it's hard to diagnose remotely) but that's what I'd be wondering.
One other thing to try, spin your pedals around and see if you still get a click. If so it could be a bit of crud got into the pedal bearings.

I love learning new stuff.
