Don't all manufacturers put junk pedals and saddles on high end bikes? They know from experience, that the owner will most likely change both, sometimes before the bike leaves the store. It's not just Specialized.,,,,BD

Hey sorry for reviving something that was dead. I just thought it would be better than starting another tire thread.
Well it relates to this bicycle and the fact that the tires on it SUCK. Fast Tracks are more for riding on the street with the occasional flat side trail thrown in.

But i have been on craigslist and am looking into a pair of Kenda Small Block 8 and a pair of bonterager 29-2. He was asking $60 for all four tires but i got him down to 40 for the whole lot.

They all have good tread as far as i can seefrom the four pictures. I am wondering if anybody has tried these out and have any negative or posative experiences with them. I have heard the Small blocks arnt good with anything wet, is this true? Also i havnt heard anything about the 29-2 so if you have them then i would love to hear your review.

Thank you in advance

Bikes: A blue one and a black one.

$40? Pull the trigger. Seriously.

Happy trails!

Small Blk 8s are popular in the dirt and rock terrain in the Desert SW. I have Bontraegers that are very similar to SML BLks as well. Depending on the terrain, they are both great finds.
