Slime tubes

They work great at trying to seal up the air valve? Yes that means you have to unscrew the valve core, and stick something down in it so you can put air in the tube. And they make a MESS if the tire ever blows off the rim during inflation. Plus they weigh alot? You're better off and lighter with a flat protected tire.,,,,BD

I buy regular tubes and put slime in them myself I think the tubes that come with slim have way to much in them. I've been running tubes with slim for 4 years now and they work great for thorns. Never had a problem with it sealing up the valves either.
Too much slim will also throw the balance of the tires off, you don't need much slime for it to be affective.

I put some in for a friend and he got the tubes that were prefilled.
I bet they were 1.5 lbs each, WOW were they heavy.
I manually filled some of mine but found out they don't work in freezing temps,
they cause leaks at the valve when it freezes.
